The Salvation Army tent off 26th and Main in Joplin is offering Acupuncture as well as basic services. The Salvation Army has a booth for 'Acupuncturists Without Borders', with free Acupuncture to help people with stress, insomnia, and physical and emotional pain.
Candage Fruge, from Acupuncturists Without Borders, said "The five points that we use have been used by the military and in other extreme situations. These are points that are proven to help relieve stress and trauma. The Salvation Army really embraced us."The Salvation Army says the acupuncture service will be provided from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for as long as the tent is there
